1. What conditions do chiropractors treat?

Chiropractors help with a wide range of issues, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, joint pain, sciatica, sports injuries, and posture-related problems. We also provide care for children, pregnant patients, and families who want to maintain overall health and mobility.

2. What should I expect at my first visit?

Your first appointment is about getting to know you and your health goals. We’ll take a detailed history, perform a physical exam, and, if needed, order imaging. Then we’ll explain our findings, answer your questions, and recommend a care plan. Most visits last about 45–60 minutes. Please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing so the practitioners can access your area of complaint with ease.

3. Do I need a referral from my doctor to see a chiropractor?

No referral is needed. Chiropractors are primary contact healthcare providers, which means you can book directly with us anytime.

4. Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes. Chiropractic care is widely recognized as safe and effective when performed by a licensed chiropractor. We use gentle, evidence-based techniques tailored to your age, comfort level, and condition. Your chiropractor will review the risks of treatment with you before proceeding and will stop to answer any questions you may have as they arise.

5. How many visits will I need?

That depends on your specific condition, how long it has been present, and your personal goals. Some patients feel better after just a few visits, while others benefit from longer-term care. We’ll check your progress regularly and adjust your plan as needed.

6. Does chiropractic treatment hurt?

Most patients find chiropractic adjustments comfortable and even relieving. You may feel some mild soreness after your first few visits - similar to how you might feel after exercise - but this usually resolves quickly. Our practitioners will check in with you regularly to ensure all treatment is tolerable.

7. Do you treat children and pregnant patients?

Yes! We provide safe and gentle chiropractic care for children, teens, and expectant mothers. Techniques are always modified for comfort and safety at every stage of life.

*We are a family friendly practice and you are welcome to bring the smallest members of your family with you for your appointment, whenever needed.

8. What payment options and insurance coverage do you accept?

We accept most major insurance plans and offer direct billing when available. Outstanding balances can be paid with cash, credit, or debit.

We suggest checking with your insurance provider regarding your coverage (yearly amount, percentage or dollar cap per visit, date of renewal, etc.) as we are unable to obtain that information on your behalf.

SENIORS (65+) qualify for Alberta's Coverage for Seniors Program administered by Alberta Blue Cross. Seniors are entitled to $200 in chiropractic care annually with a maximum of $25 per appointment (resets every July 1).

9. What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

  • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee up to the full amount of the appointment.
  • Missed appointments will result in a no-show fee equal to the full amount of the appointment.

We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can arise. In these cases, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make accommodations. Providing notice allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient who may be waiting for care.

10. How do I book an appointment?

Booking is simple! You can schedule online through our website, call or email our clinic directly, or stop by in person. Same-day appointments may be available - just ask!
